To build morale among American servicemen and women by providing them cards and letters from American school chiildren, gifts from home, and importantly, to provide them with a typical All American meal - to show them they are not forgotten.

About OPERATION: America Loves You!

 We are a non-profit, 501-c-3 organization founded by "Hot Dog" Harry Hirschinger in 1986, whose sole mission is to boost the morale of service men and women that are stationed overseas, and unable to be home for the holidays; to provide them with a typical All-American meal; to share cards,  letters and gifts from people back home; to show them they are not forgotten. Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving and the end of the year holidays are the toughest times for young men and women to be away from home. 

OPERATION: America Loves You! has hand  cooked over 800,000 hot dogs and delivered countless cards and letters from patriotic citizens back home to troops from the beaches  of Beirut, to the DMZ and mountains of Korea.  Our goal is to be there every holiday for  the 300,000 that are currently serving overseas.  We need your help to make this happen.  We all know someone with a son or daughter that can be reached by OPERATION: America Loves You!
